Celebrate the creativity and ingenuity of our community members with featured projects and ideas in machine learning. From open-source libraries to DIY solutions, there’s no shortage of inspiration to be found among our talented community.
01. XIAO EE05 Home Assistant Air Quality ePaper Dashboard Project
Maker Ernesto Tolocka created a persistent air quality ePaper dashboard based on XIAO EE05 ESP32-S3 Plus and a 4.26-inch monochrome 800×480 e-ink screen. It retrieves real-time temperature, humidity, CO₂, formaldehyde and VOC data from Home Assistant via REST API. Thanks to ePaper’s ultra-low power trait that retains content without power and performs well under bright light, the device connects to Wi-Fi, refreshes readings and enters deep sleep automatically, offering a dedicated physical screen for intuitive smart home air quality monitoring. Check it out .
02. XIAO ESP32-C5 Dual-MCU 5GHz Wi-Fi Project
Maker Zeller MA developed a dual-MCU solution with two XIAO ESP32-C5 boards. One runs esp-at firmware as an independent 5GHz Wi-Fi communication module connected via UART, and the other serves as the main controller to drive an ILI9341 SPI screen. Separating wireless and main control reduces single-chip load, ensures smooth main program operation, and supports replaceable communication modules. The compact XIAO form factor enables this multi-MCU design implemented on custom PCBA, which refreshes the display and outputs real-time Wi-Fi status through AT commands. Learn more.
03. Recruitment of Global Workshop Partners for Seeed Physical AI
Seeed is recruiting global workshop partners in two tracks: city co-hosts with venues and event resources, and Physical AI pioneer ambassadors including developers and creators. #Notes
If you’re new to this session, here is a brief intro. We have gotten dozens of requests over the years for a Seeed Monthly Newsletter. Although we already have a newsletter for weekly updates, we still need a place to host overall information about what’s happened on a monthly basis. It can offer an efficient and friendly way to get updated for the whole community. And that’s what we expect for our Seeed Monthly Wrap-ups. Instead of putting it as a subscribe-to-read format, we’re publishing them on our blog, so as to keep it as open and accessible as possible for the whole community. For each entry, we will cover awesome projects from the community, campaigns that we are running, new products, IIoT Solutions, and even secret recipes for prototyping and manufacturing.
