    The Linklt Smart 7688 development platform offers two developments boards:

    • Linklt Smart 7688: MPU only. Powered by Media Tek MT7688.

    • Linklt Smart 7688 Duo: MPU and MCU. Powered by Media Tek MT7688 and ATmega 32U4.

    What is LinkIt Smart 7688

    The LinkIt Smart 7688 is an open development board, based on the OpenWrt Linux distribution and MT7688. The board is designed especially to enable the prototyping of Rich IoT Application for Smart Home. The board offers you the memory and packet storage to enable robust video processing. The platform also offers options to create device applications in Python, Node.js and C programming language.

    LinkIt Smart 7688 is a co-design product by Seeed Studio and MediaTek. It brings together the parties' knowledge in open hardware and industry leading reference designs for IoT devices to create this powerful development board.

    Smart WiFi Audio

    It is a WiFi Audio which allows your mobile phone to connect to its WiFi and play the music in your phone. If you connect the Linklt Smart 7688 to your Router, the Audio will show the IP on the Grove RGB Backlight LCD, and also the song title.

    How can a 2nd ethernet port be enabled? The MT7688A has a 5-port ethernet switch, so it would be nice to easily enable at least 1 more ethernet port by adding magnetics. Is this possible?

       Could you tell me where you see"mt7688a has 5-port ethernet switch"? I only found that it has 1-port fast ethernet phy.

    The datasheet mentions a 5 port switch, because the 1 port PHY is actually port 6 on the switch.  it can have 5 ethernet ports.

    The pinout for the linkit smart 7688 has 4 pins going to the ethernet port 0 on breakout board labelled MDI_P0 and there is another set of 4 pins labelled MDI_P1.

    The uboot appears to set the MDI_P1 pins as part of SPIS, but i want to use as 2nd ethernet port.

    Which GPIO do I need to use to reset wifi? (case: LinkIt device difficult to access, can't easily reach the onboard wifi button.)

    According to the developer's guide, there is no gpio to reset wifi directly.

    Linkit Smart 7688 supports  operating voltage of 3.3V. It does not have a Analog Pin.
