Seeed Studio to Participate in FAB25 Czechia: Bridging the Gap

Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to the world of digital fabrication, we welcome you to join us in Czechia at FAB25 this July!

We’re excited to announce that Seeed Studio will be joining FAB25 Czechia, the 21st annual international Fab Lab Conference & Symposium, taking place from July 4–11, 2025, in Brno and Prague. Organized by The Fab Foundation, Make More, and Fab Lab Brno, FAB25 is a global gathering of makers, educators, innovators, and technologists from more than 50 countries, all united by the theme “Bridge the Gap.”

As part of this vibrant celebration of digital fabrication and maker culture, we’re bringing hands-on workshops, an interactive booth, hackathon and other exciting experience to the community!

Hands-On Workshops

1. The AI Workshop: How to Add AI to Almost Everything

This hands-on workshop is specifically tailored for AI beginners and Arduino fans. Dive into the transformative world of TinyML using our XIAO ESP32S3 Sense, a thumb-sized yet powerful MCU, and delve into the usage of SenseCraft AI Platform as a powerful online development environment.

  • A little different approach: Experience the unique path that makes AI accessible to everyone—no advanced mathematics and no hard knowledge required.

  • Hands-On Training: Master vision AI model fundamentals through practical exercises using the XIAO ESP32S3 Sense, achieving results in record time.

  • Seamless Implementation Journey: Navigate the complete pathway from AI fundamentals to hardware activation to successful project integration.

2. How to Code Almost Anything for Hardware with LLM?

This workshop focuses on transforming the practice of embedded hardware programming by instructing attendees on utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) as programming assistants to rapidly convert ideas into working code. Within maker and manufacturing communities, programming is always the innovation bottleneck—there are lots of ideas, yet getting them into existence requires effort and time. With LLM programming, this can be done away with to a large degree.
By using the Wio Terminal, with structured learning under the guidance of step-by-step debugging, participants can learn how to write good prompts, retrieve and optimize codes, and design interactive UI interfaces.

3. openUC2 – The Raspberry for Optics and Quantum Physics

Hosted by Benedict Diederich, the founder and CEO of openUC2 GmbH, this workshop aims to provide participants with understanding in optics and microscopy. Join Benedict and learn how to build microscopes with the OpenUC2 10x AI Microscope.

  • Basic understanding of quantum principles
  • Inspiration to explore emerging tech
  • Hands-on skills using low-cost quantum experiments

Smart Citizen Meets Meshtastic Hackathon

We’re excited to co-organize the Smart Citizen Meets Meshtastic hackathon with Fab Lab Barcelona and Hackster.io. The hackathon focuses on environmental sensing and decentralized communication.

Participants will utilize the Smart Citizen Kit 2.3, an open-source environmental monitoring tool developed by Fab Lab Barcelona, in conjunction with Meshtastic, an off-grid mesh communication system. The hackathon aims to empower communities to collect and share environmental data, promoting citizen science and open data initiatives.

Join Us at FAB25

FAB25 is more than just a conference; it’s a celebration of creativity, innovation, and community. Catch up with our team members and Fab Aacademy graduates Violet Su, Leon Feng, Hongtai Liu, Mathew Yu and Kawi Liang during the event days. (they will be wearing the Seeed T-shirt!) At the Fab Festival, open to the Czech public, we invite you to visit our booth where we’ll showcase our latest AIoT innovations with our Ranger Robert Bogs.

Meanwhile, for Fab Aacademy graudates whose projects made with Seeed Studio XIAO, welcome to ping us, we’d like to promote your projects to more community members! (And if you bring your projects, come to our booth and we have a special swag for you! ;))

Experience live demonstrations, engage with our team, and let’s make, learn, and innovate together at FAB25! Stay tuned for more updates on our participation.
