The clock is Sticky’s most basic app, serving as a desk clock or bedside clock.

Configuration

In system settings or the Seeedash app, you can configure:

  • Time format (12/24 hour)
  • Timezone setting
  • Clock display style template

Weather App

The weather app fetches data from a cloud API and also displays readings from the built-in temperature and humidity sensor.

  • Current temperature and humidity
  • Weather forecast icons
  • Weather trends
  • Indoor vs. outdoor temperature comparison

Data Sources

Weather data comes from two sources:

  1. Cloud API: Weather forecast, outdoor temperature, humidity, etc.
  2. Local sensor: Built-in temperature and humidity sensor showing indoor data

Configuration

  • Temperature unit: Celsius / Fahrenheit
  • Humidity unit: %RH
  • City setting: Configure in the app
  • Update frequency: Automatic scheduled updates

Tips

  • Compare indoor/outdoor temperature difference to decide whether to open windows
  • Check the weather before heading out to decide what to wear
  • Use the local sensor to monitor indoor comfort level
