Seeed Studio at Maker Faire Hannover 2026: Demos, Workshops, and a Call to Makers
It’s that time of year again — Maker Faire Hannover is back on August 15–16, 2026, and of course, we’ll be there for the first time. It’s two days brimming with creative ideas, innovations, and inspiration from across technology and STEM, and there’s no better way to dive into the vibrant world of making. We wouldn’t miss it for the world.
This year we’re proud to join as a partner of Maker Faire Hannover 2026, bringing a full showcase of open hardware, hands-on demos, and live workshops — everything you need to come play, tinker, and build alongside us.
Where to Find Us
We’ll have a 36 m² booth together with our Chaihuo Makerspace, packed with new product exhibits, live demos, and on-site workshops running throughout the day.

What We're Bringing
Our booth will feature the latest across the Seeed lineup — XIAO, reTerminal ePaper displays (3.97–13.3″, mono and full color), Meshtastic/Meshcore-compatible devices, reCamera AI cameras, reSpeaker AI mic arrays (reSpeaker Flex, reSpeaker XVF3800), reSpeaker Clip, and the reBot Arm.
A few must-not-miss new products to look out for:
1. reTerminal Sticky — the voice-first, magnetic AI sticky note that turns your voice into always-visible notes and reminders.

Bring your curiosity — these are all hands-on:
- Fun with XIAO & Grove — quick, playful live demos
- Chat with Watcher XIAOZHI — meet our cutest and smartest agent bot
- Retro games on Wio Terminal — Chrome Dino Run, DOOM, Tetris, and Snake
- reSpeaker + reCamera — real-time transcription with reSpeaker, and Vision AI with the reCamera AI camera
- Teleoperate the reBot DM robot arm — take the controls and win stickers or XIAO boards
Build With Us: On-Site Workshops
We’ll host two no-code workshops with distinct themes, running throughout both days. They’re interactive and device-based, so please bring your own laptop — it’ll make the experience much better.
Workshop 1 — Build Your Own Low-Power ePaper Dashboard
Learn to design and build your own low-power information displays with no coding required. Using SenseCraft Seeedash, our free web-based no-code platform, you’ll create custom dashboards that pull live data from the web, sensors, or local files and display it beautifully on ultra-efficient reTerminal ePaper screens.
Workshop 2 — From Idea to Prototype in 5 Minutes with CodeCraft
Use CodeCraft — an AI that turns natural language (in almost any language in the world) into working code — to build a custom project on the Wio Terminal, Grove Beginner Kit for Arduino, or XIAO ESP32-S3. Just describe what you want, flash it, and see it run live at our booth. You’ll walk away with a working prototype and a new way to build hardware.

Built something cool with XIAO? We’d love to feature it. We’re inviting XIAO developers to bring their projects on-site and exhibit them at the Seeed booth (application required).
