The panel is TN, which means, it has a very low power consumption with a short response time and a high refresh rate. DIY smart mirrors offer up a possible use for an old LED tv – especially now the more RPi models boast greater hardware specifications…, but I’m at a loss to ensure I’m buying a compatible IR touch panel – i.e. what I’ve seen available narrows the choice for the preferred screen so far to just a single model, the FC-32 on –

    – but it cannot be sourced to purchase, another 32″, the FY-32 is more readily available, but a discrepancy of mere mm could be the difference between it fitting or not.
    There’s usually a wiki with a compatibility list for reference – I’d like to input ‘UE32D5000’ and get the list of IR touch overlays, or narrow search results for 32″ screens and find compatible models listed with each overlay – I guess it’s relatively new to want to try do this, yet while the amount of overlays available is staggering – any pointers…?
